The first day of class I thought was going to be much more instance than it actually was. I was still a little hesitate because I did not really know anyone in the class. Yet after I walked into class Professor Boyanton came up to me and introduced herself and I the same. Those two minutes of communication between her and myself really put me at ease. Then we began class and she introduced herself to the entire class in a little presentation on her life and background. It was very interesting to see a professor do this. I have never seen a professor do this kind of introduction before.

After she introduced herself it was our turn. I began to get a little nervous because I thought I would have to stand and introduce myself to the entire class. Yet, the professor had us introduce ourselves to three people. I really felt more comfortable introducing myself to a smaller group than an entire class. I met a girl named Vanessa and a guy named Abel. I felt a lot better now that I had some common ground with a couple of class mates.

Then after small introductions we sat in a circular formation and waited for instructions from the professor. She told us that we would be playing the name game. I have played several different versions of this game so I was excited to see which version she had chosen. I was feeling okay about the game because I hadn't played this version but it was kind of the same instructions as other versions. Unfortunately for me I was the last one to go so I had to learn every name and strategy and get it right. I really did enjoy the game because by the end of class all that anxiety that had built up just went away.
