When I registered for this course EDCI 4322: Human Development & Instruction, I was a bit confused about the course, but excited to start the class. The first day of class, when I entered the classroom I was overwhelmed in not seeing anyone that I know making me feel a little uncomfortable. After professor Dengting Boyanton approached me with a welcome handshake I felt much more confident about her and the environment.

Class started very interesting with a small survey made by Dr. Boyanton with statements of how to make teaching better and so on. Along class time and seeing the syllabus I thought about how this class was going to be amazingly hard and with high expectations I started to get worry.

Although with an awesome team icebreaker, we played a Name Game, which made me feel ultra better, more confident with my classmates by knowing each other names, I really enjoyed the game and it was really fun. This icebreaker definitely is great way to start a first day of class with confident and energy and loose a bit of nervousness.

Over all first day of class turned out to be good and exciting, and challenging, but I am willing to do my best to learn and understand all the material given.
