I thought our class last night was really fun and interesting. It was great to get back to the regular routine. I also felt everyone was quite spirited and in great moods, which made the class feel very warm and united.

I enjoyed reading the journals, as usual, participating in the self reflection and sharing exercises with a neighbor, the lesson, and especially liked the skits at the end. I was apprehensive about performing, but actually had a good time.

It was a great exercise to end the lesson with. I think everyone did a phenomenal job and it was really fun to see how expressive others can be. As for the lesson itself, I found it extremely insightful. I thoroughly enjoyed hearing and learning about the three approaches in a lesson format, opposed to reading about them in the text. I found the information was broad, with a lot of depth. It allowed me to dig deep and see what kind of teacher I would like to be.

Actually, I think it's innate what kind of teacher I or any of us will be, and it is my belief that I am and will be a combination of all three. However, if I had to choose just one, I would consider myself to follow the lines of the humanistic approach. Thank you, Dengting, for leading another insightful, great class. I give permission to publish this assignment using my real name.
