My role model is my mom. Last summer, my mom became extremely sick. She was rushed to the hospital and that was the worst night of my life. She was in and out of the hospital, and the worst part was the doctors could not seem to figure out what was wrong with her.
However, through all of this she still continued to put the needs of the family before her own. She continued to go to work and do as much as she could around the house. She was always tired and couldn’t do as much however. It was in this time that I grew up. I had to take care of her now. I think my mom and her being sick motivated me even more than I already was. My mom always told me I had a knack for being around children. She also is a teacher, but I do not believe wanting to be a teacher is because of that. Even though I linger in her footsteps, I see myself creating my own set.
