My mother is one person I consider my role model. I chose her as my role model because she always seems to respond positively in any situation. She tries to make the best out of every situation and can handle stress and do multiple jobs with out freaking out, like I do. She is a very strong woman and that is something that I wish I will be able to take after her for.

Over the past three years my family has had a lot going on; my grandfather was battling cancer, and my grandmother and father dealing with heart disease. Things got especially rough this past January when my grandfather lost his battle to cancer. It was very hard to say goodbye him, but it was better than him suffering. Then we found out that my dad needed heart surgery and in June he got it.

My mother was very strong throughout the entire thing and was very brave for my entire family. She has influenced me as a person by showing me the brighter side of things and not always being negative when you’re having a bad day or stressed out. I know I can go to my mother with anything, even though she might get mad about it I know she will still love me the same.
