My motivation to become a teacher comes from my life experiences. After 22 years of working on Wall Street, I finally am perusing my dream. I have three children of my own and feel blessed. I have always loved kids and plan to be a great teacher. Just to see a smile on a kids face when he finally understands something he did not understand is priceless. I am involved with activities in my community such as coaching and mentoring. By giving I am receiving.

I would also like to explore Civil War history for I love American History and am somewhat a buff. I plan to do my research on a combination of A) Learning Style and B) Confidence and Learning. I chose this because I think by incorporating the learning styles of each individual student and combining it with a confidence level that suits each child makes for a great research assignment.

My expectations from this class is to learn as much as possible in psychological education and apply it to my future teaching skills. I want to listen, observe and become the best I can be in all subject matters relating to this class.
