I absolutely loved the Panel discussion activity. I thought it was so great to be able to voice our concerns about becoming teachers and hear from our classmates with some experience how they would handle the situation. It gave me more confidence to know that some of the things I was worried about others were worried about also. Some of my questions were even situations that others had dealt with while teaching.

I left class feeling even more excited about teaching. All of the things I was worried about I realized that with some practice I will be able to deal with. Everyone in class who has not taught before was worried about different things just like I was, so I am defiantly not alone. I was glad we talked about behavioral issues because that was something that always crossed my mind, how would I handle a child that would not behave? Now I see there are so many things to do to help behavioral issues, like a points or rewards system- these were two great ideas that I had not thought of before. The Panel discussion gave me so many new ideas and insight into teaching this was a great experience for me.
