A special person to me who has impacted my life is my grandmother. She has always been supportive and understanding of me since I can remember. I can stop by at her house and she would drop anything so that I could talk to her. My grandma is the best listener that I know, and she knows just the right amount of advice to give me. It is great because grandma lets me vent about my life, and she actually cares and remembers what I tell her. I also love to just go visit her and have her talk about her life and her stories of growing up. Somehow even though we are over 50-years apart, she knows just how I am feeling and can relate to me.
I get a lot of my personality from her, although I wish I had more of her patience. I feel very lucky to have someone so wonderful like this because I know that she has great advice and loves me unconditionally. I also know that she is honest with me and will tell me her real true feeling about things. I am very thankful for my grandma and I hope she knows how much I admire her.
