Procrastination is something that I've always had a problem controlling. However this semester I have had a real hold on it, and I'm really proud of myself.
I was always really stressed out over school because all I ever did was procrastinate and waited until the very last minute to write a paper, email a professor or complete an assigned reading. Since Ive been working on my self management project I've been doing excellent. All of my journals have been submitted on time with the exception of two. One of which I missed class and another I could not complete on time because I was very sick. The only observation report I submitted late was the final one because the teacher had jury duty and then could not access my voice messages. However I completed my last observation this week and submitted my final observation report.
Not only in school has my procrastination gotten better. At home I have been able to go to sleep a little earlier because I've been doing daily chores in a more timely manner instead of waiting until 10pm to wash my daughters bottles, I'll wash them at 8pm and then have more time to relax, do schoolwork or other chores.
I'm really proud of myself and am much happier in general. It's amazing how something such as not procrastinating can change your attitude and daily routine. I will continue to keep up these new habits going forward. This class has been great for me!
