Thursday’s class really opened my eyes. It was nice to hear about and even see the role models that we all grew up with. I think that this class opened everyone up to one another and showed how truly accepting and amazing each member of our class is. I know that I could say anything to any member of our class and even our professor and not be judged for it. Having the feeling of acceptance in a classroom is something that every person longs for and it is absolutely wonderful to say I can experience that feeling. Because of the acceptance and the strength our class has, I would have to say that our class is filled with twenty-something role models. I believe that each member of our class is someone that someone aspires to be like, should aspire to be like, or will eventually aspire to be like.
I love walking into this class every Tuesday and Thursday because it is filled with the most real, openhearted, friendly group of individuals. I am so proud to say that I can associate myself with these individuals. I feel that by learning and growing with these people, I am truly becoming a better person for myself. I have never seen a class filled with so many young people who actually care about and admire children and the education system. We all are so excited to learn about children and how to educate them. We all cannot wait to get into our classrooms, no matter how scary it may be. We all want to motivate and inspire our students to become the best people they can be. I know that this class is filled with people that will eventually change the world some day.
