I feel todays class again went very well. I liked how we went over every single point in the syllabus, discussed it, and most people had questions so we really got to the understanding of each thing. I was confused in the beginning of the class though when each person I guess had to tell one thing to respect our classmates and the classroom. If I think about it now, the most important thing I would say is just respect period, all around for classmates and the professor. When the professor is speaking show some respect and listen to what they are saying because 90% of what they are saying is important. As mentioned that also goes for our classmates. When a classmate is speaking, whether it is asking a question, giving a presentation or whatever it is important to show respect and listen because there could be a chance that they are asking a question that we may want to know the answer to and that would benefit us as well.
Again it is important to have a community of respect in order for students to learn because it is just easier. If most students in the class participate, listen when the professor and other classmates are speaking, it just makes it an easier environment to learn and is beneficial in every way. I am very confident about taking this course. After going over the syllabus and really knowing what each assignment is I am now able to feel more comfortable completing the assignments. I just have to make sure that I stay on top of everything and I know that I will do very well. Some assignments can be challenging, but thats what makes it interesting because when you complete an assignment that was challenging you feel good about yourself and that can help you better perform knowing that feeling of when you complete an assignment.
I am also very determined in succeeding in this class. I do not like to get bad grades, it is a bad feeling and I have had bad grades in the past and when you get that feeling you do not want to have it again so that is what helps me to be successful.
