Inclusion or not? The great debate

Today in class, we watched a video called “ How difficult can it be”. The video is
about how it feels to have learning disability. After watching the video it made me realize
that students who has learning disability needs more time and attention than the regular
students. For example, it takes time for these students to solve a problem, read a book or
answering a question than others. The video gave me lots of valuable lessons that I need
to know and what to do when I become a teacher in the future.

In my opinion, I don’t think we should include students with disability to our
regular class because students with learning disability needs more time and
attention than regular students. I don’t think they will learn the same amount than
the regular students. However if they are in class with students who all has learning
disability, it will be more comfortable for them, and also learn step by step from the
teacher. It is really important for the teachers to have patience and provide these
students with more attention and work so they will understand and learn better.
