Today’s class was very emotional and powerful. You could feel how real and authentic everyone’s story was and how important a role model is to each one of us. This class activity definitely made us more connected as a classroom. I feel closer to each one of my classmates through this activity. It was also scary and heartbreaking to hear some of the stories that people had. We always think we have it so hard until we hear stories explaining life threatening diseases and how it affected our classmate. We sometimes have to take a step back and perhaps realize that we may not have it so bad and all we need to do is take a deep breath and tackle every situation as hard as you possibly can.College of Education

It was also nice to re-recognize how great of a man my father is and realize all the things he has done for my family and me. My father was also influenced by his father and said that he hoped he could become half the man my grandfather was, but I know my father is just as great of a man as my grandfather was. I hope that I cannot only be as great of a father to my children, but I also hope that I can become a great teacher to my students.
