I enjoyed today’s class. I mean, I know that I felt that I was a good student but had very really thought much about what involves being a good student. I found today’s class to be very interesting because I had never really thought about how I learn, think about, understand, and remember new information. I found it interesting to learn about the different note taking techniques. I had never really thought much about what occurs when I take notes, and know realize what my note taking involves and have realized that I should work harder to include processing in my note taking, rather than simply copying or summarizing my notes.College of Education

I feel that I am a good learner. A strategy I feel that I use, is reading the chapter before class and highlighting important points. This way I am aware of the material that is going to be covered in the class, and have a preview of the information. This way, when we cover the material in class, it is more like a review and expansion or clarification of points that I am not have understood in my reading of the chapter. I feel that this is also part of my good study habits. I feel that I need to take good notes in class, as part of my study habits, that way I am able to look back and review my notes while I am studying. I feel that all students learn differently and this will affect my teaching in that I have to consider how my students might learn while planning and teaching my lessons.
I feel satisfied about the midterm, though looking back at the midterm I realized that there were some questions which I got wrong, but I actually knew the answers. I feel that my Self-Management Project is going well, while I am stressed because it is getting towards the end of the semester and there is a lot of work involved, I know that I can handle my work load and am aware of what I need to do to manage my stress and not let it get to me completely.
