My role model, my inspiration, my motivation

My role model would have to be my best friend Kaitlyn. She has gone through so much in her life it is unbelievable. Some of those things I can not mention but if you knew and you met her, you would agree she is a amazing person. She is talented, smart, funny, athletic, crazy, intellectual, a good friend, a listener, and best friend, and above all, a good person.

I met Kaitlin at least 5 years ago at a barn that we used to ride at together. She had her own horse at the time and I did not. She would always reach out to me and help me with anything that I needed when it came to horses. She was very smart and always made a choice that benefited the horse. That meant a lot to me because horses are abused all the time and mistreated a lot. So for her at a young age to be so in tune with what the horse was feeling really made a huge impact on me.

She is my role model because no one else that I know can multi-task like her, and always get whatever she is doing done correctly. She is a very caring person and always makes me smile when I am down. We have fun together no matter what we are doing and she is always up for doing anything. She doesn't mind hanging out in a group or just me and her, and I can always introduce her to new people and not have to worry if they wont like her, if she is going to embarrass me, or make a fool of herself. She is never rude, unless it is called upon, and always stands her ground.

She has influenced me the most through horses. She is currently Champion of her division on Long Island, and competes on other peoples horses as well. You could say that she is a sponsored rider, and that she should be a professional rider. She has helped me with my horse in so many different ways, and has helped me too. She has motivated me to become a better rider, take on new challenges, and always push myself to work harder. She pushes herself everyday and always tries to make progress. Usually when she sets her mind to something, she does it. She never lets anyone get in her way, and always follows her dream. I think the reason why I am using her as my role model is because she is so independent, and I wish that I could be as independent as her. Unfortunately, she is moving to Florida for school in January, and I will not be seeing her as often as I would like. Hopefully we will be visiting each other a lot, and sharing more memories together.
