In class today we discussed exactly what I am struggling with. Today we discussed learning and study habits. I have a huge plan of achievement this semester. I unfortunately have to work two jobs to be able to continue attending this university. I am sure many students are I the same situation that I am in. My problem is time management. I chose time management as my self-improvement project. I am hoping this will help me organize my time. My goal for this semester is to get an A all my classes. I am only enrolled in four classes this semester so there should be no reason why I should not pull straight A’s. I am currently taking two education classes and two advanced Italian classes. Italian is my major so I must take these advanced classes.

The past couple weeks have not been productive for me. I feel that I work a lot and am in school a lot therefore I don’t have much time. I feel that sometimes when I do have an extra minute, I relax or do something leisurely. I need to learn to complete my homework then relax and enjoy my hobbies. My decisions that I have been making have not been very responsible. For example, I have many papers to write during this semester and I really need to complete them as soon as possible. Monday night instead of trying to complete some papers, I went out with my boyfriend. This is unacceptable. I am upset with myself and I will not do this again. From now until the end of the semester I am going to work my hardest and achieve my goals. Unfortunately, my Italian literature class is going to be a little difficult. My professor is very smart but she does not utilize the board. She makes it difficult for us to understand what is going on because she switches the subject quickly. I hope to manage my time and achieve my goal!
