WOW! Wow!! Another interesting day of learning, today we learned about Piaget’s way of learning. Through Piaget’s stages of learning I was able to identify which stage of learning my God children are currently learning on. I have 4 God children and they are all in Piaget’s learning categories. I was more fascinated with the youngest male, Cameron who is in the sensorimotor stage. He is so inquisitive about his surroundings, so much that he is into everything. While changing his diaper and playing peek-a-boo, I found how interesting it was to him to grab the powder to see what I was using that he wanted to use it also. Also playing peek-a-boo was very interesting to him just as the little baby on the film the professor showed us. Even though they are two different children their reaction was the same. Now that I am able to identify and understand these stages and changes I am now finding myself analyzing all children around my. I try to identify the stage then reference my notes. This class has been a real page turner for me, I find that I can not wait for the next class every week to see what new scheme of accommodation I will learn that day.
