Dr. Boyanton Edi 17 Journal 7 Journal 7: moratorium? Today’s class was yet another fun filled activity, but also a learning experience. This is what I love about Dr. Boyanton’s class; she always is able to create a learning experience out of something fun and intriguing. The lesson today was about James Marcia’s study of Moratorium. We basically were able to identify and share the four stages of this theory. It was interesting talking about different experiences for people because like I said in my last few journals, this allows me to open my perspective on life and becoming a future teacher.

Once again I was able to discover more about myself, and my process of growing up. I always look forward to coming to this class, even though the work can get overwhelming, I love learning about others and myself in the class. Another activity we did today was writing a poem about ourselves. I am usually not creative and I don’t enjoy doing art, but lately I have been discovering a poetic side of myself. I am able to express myself in words, which gives me the confidence to accomplish my daily chores or goals. Looking forward to another class with Dr. Boyanton
