My definition of intelligence is someone who knowledgeable in multiple content areas, social, and understanding. More in depth someone who is intelligent should be not only to be “book” smart but also common sense smart. Based on this definition, I believe that I am a very well rounded, educated individual who is intelligent. I am knowledgeable on multiple content areas, especially Italian and education which I have thoroughly explored and I am also socially intelligent.
One person that I find intelligent is my father, Luigi. I believe that he is intelligent because he is a smart man on multiple levels. He moved to America from Italy with very little money and started his own business as a tailor. Speaking very little English he was very sociable and started to make very good money. As his business expanding he expanded his store into a boutique and custom tailor. He did not know many things about running a business in America but being extremely hard working and intelligent he was able to make it. My mother never worked and he was able to support my family. I would call my father an intelligent man because with knowledge in multiple areas he was able to make something of himself and support a family for many years.
