A good lesson is one that is clear and instructive. It must include an objective, the actual lesson plans and how you would assess if the child has learned the actual lesson or objective. The lesson has to be clear and be for the grade level that you are teaching. Anything too hard the children will not understand or fully get the lesson. However, the lesson should be a little challenging so the children do not dismiss the lesson as too easy. If it is a little challenging the students will most likely pay attention more.
To give a good lesson the instructions or the objective must be clear to the children and the teacher. Lessons could be creative and fun but other lessons do not have to be. You must be able to catch your student’s attention early on because otherwise they will not pay attention and it will be difficult to bring them back to attention. The lesson should be slightly difficult but easy enough for the audience to understand and comprehend. Giving a good lesson should also know if the students have actually learned what was being taught. A lesson should include a way for the teacher to know if the students understood and can go on or if they need extra time.
